LTSveikatos priežiūros kokybė, ypač ligoninėse – pagrindinis sveikatos priežiūros sistemų veiklos tikslas. Jis tampa dar aktualesnis COVID-19 pandemijos metu. Tyrimo tikslas – apžvelgti, įvertinti ir palyginti sveikatos priežiūros kokybę iki COVID-19 pandemijos ir pandemijos laikotarpiais ligoninėse. Atliekant tyrimą, analizuotos įvairių šalių autorių mokslinės publikacijos, apklausti pacientai, gydęsi ikikovidiniu ir pokovidiniu laikotarpiais ligoninėje. Respondentai vertino sveikatos priežiūros ligoninėje kokybę. Nustatyta, kad daugelio šalių ligoninėse sveikatos priežiūros kokybė COVID-19 pandemijos metu pablogėjo. Pagal kai kuriuos rodiklius sveikatos priežiūros kokybė, pacientų nuomone, kiek pablogėjo ir tirtoje ligoninėje. Absoliuti dauguma pacientų sveikatos priežiūros kokybę tiek ikikovidiniu, tiek COVID-19 pandemijos metu ligoninėje vertino gerai ir labai gerai. ENThe quality of healthcare, especially in hospitals, is the main goal of healthcare systems. It becomes even more relevant during a COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of this article – to review, evaluate and compare prepandemic and COVID-19 pandemic health care quality in hospitals. Material and methods. Scientific publications of authors from various countries were analyzed during the research. The to patients who were treated in the Klaipeda university hospital and filled out the assessment of health care and its quality questionnaire in 2018-2019 years (69365) and 2020-2021 years (40514) were surveyed. The research data were analyzed and compared in two periods: pre-pandemic and COVID-19 pandemic. Analysis of statistical data was done using software SPSS version 23. Results. It has been found that the quality of healthcare in hospitals in most countries has deteriorated during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the opinion of in patients, according to some indicators the quality of health care has deteriorated slightly in the studied hospital.Conclusions. The causes of negative changes in health care quality during the COVID-19 pandemic are the deterioration of hospital financing, changes in the behavior of health care workers and patients, psychological and emotional stress, increased workloads, worsening working conditions, external pressure on healthcare workers from politicians and patients, and others. The absolute majority of surveyed patients assessed the health care quality in the hospital during the pre- pandemic and COVID- 19 pandemic periods as good and very good. Slight negative changes in some health care quality indicators in the hospital, in the opinion of patients, reflect trends in the world and European countries and are related to common causes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, primarily to changes in patient behavior.
