Kauno technikos kolegijos studentų kaitos probleminiai aspektai

LTStraipsnyje keliami probleminiai klausimai: kokios aplinkybės lemia studentų kaitos skirtumus atskirose mokymo įstaigose, kokie veiksniai lemia studento sprendimą nutraukti studijas bei kiek jaunuolių įgytas vidurinėse mokyklose išsilavinimas ir suformuoti gebėjimai dirbti turi įtakos studijų nutraukimo priežastims pirmaisiais jų studijų metais. Tyrimo pagrindinis tikslas - atskleisti Kauno technikos kolegijos studentų kaitą lemiančio veiksnio – studijų nutraukimo - probleminius aspektus. Straipsnyje aptariamos studijų nutraukimo teorinės prielaidos ir pateikiamos charakteringos studijų nutraukimo priežastys, kurių analizę bei vertinimą siūloma atlikti mokymo įstaigoms per studentų apklausas, studijų kokybės analizę, studijų proceso organizavimą. Straipsnyje, remiantis statistinių duomenų analize bei vidiniais dokumentais, analizuojamos Kauno technikos kolegijoje 2010 -2020 metų studentų kaitos ir studijų nutraukimo tendencijos bei priežastys. Atlikto tyrimo pagrindu daroma išvada, kad konkursinio minimalaus balo pakėlimas sudaro prielaidas stoti į Kolegiją geresnį bazinį pasirengimą turintiems studentams, tačiau stojamasis balas neturi reikšmingos įtakos studentų „nubyrėjimui“. ENThe article raises the following research questions: What circumstances determine the differences in student turnover in different educational institutions? What factors determine the student’s decision to terminate studies? How does the admission score influence termination of studies during the first year? The article aims to reveal the problematic aspects of termination of studies - the primary determinant of student turnover in Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Science. The article discusses the theoretical assumptions of study termination and presents characteristic reasons behind it. Educational institutions are advised to perform the analysis and evaluation of these reasons through student surveys, study quality analysis, and organization of the study process. Based on the analysis of statistical data and internal documents, the article analyses the tendencies and reasons for student turnover and termination of studies at Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Science in 2010-2020. It is concluded that raising the minimum admission score creates preconditions for students with better basic preparation to enter the University, but the admission score does not significantly affect students’ drop-out.
