Summary / Abstract:

LTDarbe pristatoma senėjimo savo gyvenamojoje aplinkoje koncepcija, išskiriamos su jos realizavimu architektūrinėmis priemonėmis susijusios problemos ir galimybės. Šios koncepcijos realizavimo galimybės Lietuvoje, miesto ir kaimo sąveikos zonoje iliustruojamos eksperimentiniu senėjimui savo namuose pritaikyto kvartalo projektu. Eksperimentiniam projektui buvo pasirinktas sklypas buvusio Linkuvos dvaro sodybos teritorijoje, Mosėdžio g., Kaune. Ši glaudų ryšį tiek su gamtine, tiek su urbanizuota aplinka turinti teritorija leido atskleisti biofilinio projektavimo ir universalaus dizaino principų pritaikymo galimybes kuriant fiziniu požiūriu prieinamą ir psichologiškai priimtiną senėjimui namuose pritaikytą aplinką. Reikšminiai žodžiai: senėjimas, senėjanti visuomenė, senėjimas namuose, eksperimentinis projektavimas, biofilinis projektavimas, universalus dizainas (projektavimas visiems), Linkuvos dvaro sodybos teritorija. ENThe concept of aging at home is the opportunity for an aging person, regardless of age, but given that the elderly are the most vulnerable group, to live in their own home for as long as possible, which ensures autonomy, independence, social cohesion and quality of life. Independent living at home is ensured by universal design solutions that reduce the physical limitations of individuals and biophilic design solutions that create psychologically acceptable and health-promoting environment. The application of the principles of these design concepts in the interior, exterior, small architecture, volumetric compositions can ensure successful, optimal aging at home. The aim of the work is to present the concept of aging at home and to demonstrate the possibilities of its realization by architectural means in an experimental project of a residential quarter, supplementing the concept with the principles of biophilic design and universal design. The location chosen for the experimental project is suitable for successful, optimal, healthy and active aging at home and can be described as the boundary between urban and rural areas - the territory of the former Linkuva manor residence in Kaunas, Mosėdžio St. Here the independent, adapted for the aging community, residential neighborhood is designed; the territorial arrangements and buildings ensure the residential and social functions. The houses for aging at home are designed according to the system of expanding modular homes. Different possible configuration proposals of houses according to different needs of persons and possible changes in the number of persons in the household have been developed. [From the publication]The main universal design solutions of the designed residential quarter for aging at home are manifested through the flexibility of interior spaces, equal access and universal sizes of spaces of the modules. In the compositions of the modules, biophilic design manifests itself through the dynamism of spaces, the use of natural materials, the variability of perspectives, the variability of light and shadow, and the modernized form of Lithuanian traditional houses, supporting architecture - using house facades for human creativity and needs. Urban solutions create spaces accessible to all (taking into account persons with reduced mobility) and public spaces of organic forms and various functions that activate communication, preserve and actualize the natural and cultural landscape. Key words: Aging, aging society, aging at home, experimental design, biophilic design, universal design, Linkuva manor residence territory. [From the publication]
