Šiaulių miesto želdynų sistemos analizė

LTMiestų bendrą vaizdą ir struktūrą lemia želdynai ir jų sistemos, nuo kurių priklauso miesto erdvės struktūra, papildoma statinių architektūra, kuriamos žaliosios erdvės, gerinamos aplinkos sąlygos. Tinkamai panaudojant želdynų teikiamas galimybes, sukuriama palankesnė miesto aplinka žmogaus poreikiams. Tačiau ar tam tikrame plote ir visoje miesto teritorijoje pakanka želdinių kiekybine ir kokybine prasme? ENGreen areas and their systems determine general city view and structure. It can cause city space structure, complement compositions of buildings architecture, create urban green areas and improve people’s environment. Healthy and aesthetical surroundings are one of the important factors which can influence on the people’s positive behaviour. Green areas are valued not only for their scientific, cognitive, historic or cultural importance but for biological diversity at once. Therefore, well-balanced green areas expansion is very important for cities. But the problems come when there are not enough greenery or their quality are not good. There is analyzing the system of green areas in Šiauliai city according to the source of city general plan. Currently, Šiauliai city development and the composition is determined as a compact city with historical important old city part and “green” axis. Here is given information on the system of Šiauliai green areas: distribution of forests and separate green areas in the city, territory of parks and square, quality and function of green areas. Street’s greeneries, its density and conditions are surveyed here,too. Final results of researches showed that quality and quantity of green areas in Šiauliai city is not enough: the protective street greeneries and density are not good, also the separate green areas and parterres are less several times than should be. There is a problem that some parks and squares are not moved, trees and shrubs are diseased and damaged mechanically, too. So there are a lot of things which should be done for the optimization of green areas system in Šiauliai city because green places are very important in our environment.
