ENBy means of the recent legal regulation reform in Lithuania concerning company rescue, the paper tries to reveal a close connection between the law and economics, especially the importance of economic analysis of law to legislation. This paper argues that an economic influence to law should be significant as the legal regulation concerning relations of economic substance is being created. Therefore, the legislature should also consider economic arguments while creating or changing the content of such regulation. This paper aims not only to reveal the close relation between the law and economics but also to encourage further discussions on this issue. [From the publication]
