ENSea transport business is a part of the transport business sector in the Baltic states, therefore created business environment equally affect all companies. Sea ports are the transit nodes of internacional cargo transportation and when industrial or service companies settle near, ports become the centers of ekonomic development. Nowadays the requirements for ports governing sea cargo transportation are getting higher therefore influencing the number of ships visiting the port, the traffic of goods, the total turnover of cargo and all associated business. For these reasons the research object – the business environment of port companies in the Baltic states. The aim of the research: evaluation of the business environment of port companies in the Baltic states. Reasearch tasks: the number of port companies and corporate activity.
