ENHuman resources are very important to companies, a valuable resource without which no company would operate. For this reason, it is necessary to monitor the ongoing processes in the event of problems, inaccuracies, eliminate them as soon as possible and continuously improve them. This article analyzes the employee performance appraisal process presented in the documents of UAB Sigma, using the quantitative and qualitative research methods to determine the pros and cons of the performance appraisal of UAB Sigma employees. The results of the research revealed that there is no employee evaluation in the company's production department, a large part of the employees do not know anything about this process. According to the data obtained, people working in the production department have conversations with their line managers of varying frequency but they are only for conversations about the work itself. In the administration department, the evaluation of the employees' activities takes place, the employees fill in the questionnaires during the interviews, but the questionnaires and the process itself are not often improved, and if they are updated very little. The biggest problem with this process is the lack of feedback, which is noticeable in both the production and administration departments. [From the publication]
