Apie dvi labai retas XIV a. Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės monetas

LTStraipsnyje rašoma apie dvi naujas XIV a. pabaigos LDK monetas – monetą su liūtu averse ir ereliu – reverse (žinomi 2 vnt.) įkomponuotus į iš taškų sudarytus apskritimus bei monetą su dvigubu kryžiumi skyde averse ir leopardu – reverse (žinomas 1 vnt.), taip pat įkomponuotus į iš taškų sudarytus apskritimus. Pastarosios monetos buvo rastos 2002 m. Vilniaus žemutinės pilies valdovų rūmų teritorijoje. Kai kurių autorių nuomone šias monetas reiktų skirti LDK vietininkui Skirgailai (1387–1392), tačiau remiantis istoriniais, heraldiniais, ikonografiniais ir numizmatiniais faktais nustatyta, kad abi monetos yra kaldintos Lenkijos karaliaus ir Lietuvos didžiojo kunigaikščio Jogailos. Abiejų tipų monetose yra legendų fragmentai, tačiau jų identifikuoti kol kas nepavyko. Moneta su liūtu / ereliu galėjo būti nukaldinta apie 1386–1387 m., jų masės vidurkis apie 0,3 g. Moneta su dvigubu kryžiumi skyde / leopardu galėjo būti nukaldinta apie 1388–1389 m. Jos masė 0,535 g. ENThe article describes two new coins of the GDL of the 14th century: the coin with a lion in the averse and eagle in the reverse (2 pcs. known), and the coins with a double cross in a shield in the averse and a leopard in the reverse (1 pcs. known). In both coins, the images are composed inside the dotted circles. These coins where found in a territory of Vilnius Lower Castle Lords’ Chamber in 2002. According to the opinion of some authors, these coins should be dedicated to the GDL’s representative Skirgaila (1387–1392), but, based on historic, heraldic, iconographic, and numismatic facts, it is defined that both coins were made by Polish and Lithuanian duke Jogaila. Coins of both types display fragments of legends, but they were not identified yet. The coin with a lion/eagle might be produced in 1386-1387; it weighted about 0.3 g. The coin with a double cross in a shield / leopard might be produced about 1388-1389, and weighted about 0.535 g.
