ENAs career choice process is revealed through oral verbal communication, free talk may be qualified as one of vital precondition with the help of which career decision process may be managed. The importance of free talk indicates educational integration of language teaching and career guidance. Integration of these two factors should expand the repertoire of the present day teaching roles with two new roles: a teacher as a career counselor and a teacher as a communicator. Thus, the main aim of this research paper is: while stressing teachers` new roles to reveal teachers` attitudes towards training career choice and decision making skills in the context of the development of communicative competence. A hypothesis that the teacher’s positive attitude towards integration of the development of career decision making skills and communicative competence shows teachers` new roles a career counselor and a communicator what is supported by scientific literature analysis and survey results of Kaunas gymnasiums teachers.
