ENThe study investigates the influence of legal statutory regulations in the area of employment permanence, non-discrimination principle on the base of age and legal instruments that strengthen the efforts undertaken to combat unemployment among older people. Accordingly to the results of study based on statistical data and legal analysis of law provisions, Author presents some considerations related to the significance of legal instruments provided in Lithuanian statutory regulations. The presented paper is also written in an attempt to provide some conclusions that will be used at the final monograph entailing the research results concerning the model of legal instruments.
