Qualitative research was conducted using the method of structured and expert interviews. A research questionnaire was prepared for the expert interviews. The expert survey was conducted via a face-to-face interview. Findings – interinstitutional cooperation is important on both personal and institutional levels. The more actors are involved in aid processes, the more successful the development of social inclusion is. Creating a socially inclusive environment for people with psychosocial disabilities requires involvement and cooperation of various service providers. Research limitations/implications – the article discusses the social service organizations providing services for people with psychosocial disabilities in Anykščiai district, but not in the whole country.Practical implications – the results of this study can be useful for the government and municipalities in making management decisions that would strengthen inter-institutional cooperation to improve social inclusion of people with psychosocial disabilities. Originality/Value – the importance of the necessity for cooperation between the non-governmental sector institutions and the community to achieve social inclusion in the community for people with psychosocial disabilities is not discussed widely enough in scientific research. This article aims to fill in this gap. [From the publication]
