ENThe current paper contributes to the studies devoted to identifying the factors affecting emigration from CEE (Central and Eastern Europe), which are the EU member states to other EU states. In particular, the paper is focused on the factors affecting the emigration of the population from Estonia, Lithuania, Slovenia and Slovakia with Estonian, Lithuanian, Slovenian and Slovak citizenship respectively, to Germany as a destination country with the highest number of migrants among all the EU countries during the period 1998–2016 with the use of fixed effects and OLS estimation methods. The paper contributes to the literature by an empirical analyses of the main economic determinants of emigration from Estonia, Lithuania, Slovenia and Slovakia to Germany. [From the publication]
