Educational rights and obligations of foster parents in relation to a foster child

LTStraipsnio autorės diskutuoja apie globėjų, kaip neprigimtinių globotinio ugdytojų, edukacines teises ir pareigas, kurias jie atlieka indoktrinacijos proceso metu, globojamo vaiko atžvilgiu. Traktuojant globėjus, kaip ugdytojus, gyvenančius transformacijų laikmetyje, kyla problema, kiek globėjai, būdami neprigimtiniai vaiko ugdytojai, netgi galima teigti, svetimi žmonės tam vaikui, gali indoktrinuoti savo globotinius. Šio straipsnio tikslas - teoriniame lygmenyje išanalizuoti globėjų, kaip indoktrinatorių, edukacines teises ir pareigas globojamo vaiko atžvilgiu. Globėjų edukacinių teisių ir pareigų klausimas analizuojamas dviem aspektais: teisiniu ir filosofiniu. Straipsnį sudaro dvi dalys. Pirmoje dalyje analizuojamas globėjo kaip socialinio edukatoriaus vaidmuo. Pirmiausiai autorės šioje dalyje kalba apie šeimos kaip ugdymo institucijos svarbą, diskutuoja apie tėviškosios atsakomybės padalinimą tuo atveju, kai vaikas netenka tikrųjų tėvų globos. Po to aptariama globėjų kaip ugdytojų svarba globotinio ugdymo ir vystymosi procese, ypatingas dėmesys skiriamas vaiko pirminės socializacijos etapui; aptariama šeimyninės vaikų globos samprata. ENThe authors of the article discuss the educational rights and obligations of foster parents as non-natural educators of a foster child, which are delivered during an indoctrination process in respect of a foster child. Looking at foster parents as educators that live in times of transformation, a problem emerges to define the extent to which foster parents—as non-natural educators of a foster child and thus in a way strangers—can indoctrinate their foster children. The aim of the article is to analyse educational rights and obligations of foster parents as indoctrinators in respect to a fostered child. The issue pertaining to rights and obligations of foster parents is analysed from two perspectives: legal and philosophical. The article is comprised of two parts. The first part analyses the role of a foster parent as a social educator. First of all, in this part the authors are discussing the importance of a family as an educational institution, and distribution of paternal responsibility in case a child looses care of both natural parents. Then, they discuss the importance of foster parents as educators in the process of education and development; the focus is placed on the primary socialization stage of a child; the conception of foster care of children in a family. Educational rights and obligations of foster parents are summarized in the second part of the article, which also discuses the scope of educational rights and responsibilities of foster parents.
