Ch. Frenkelio rūmų pritaikymas šiuolaikinio muziejaus funkcijoms

LTStraipsnio tikslas – aptarti restauruojamo kultūros paminklo, Ch. Frenkelio rūmų, pritaikymą polifunkcinei kultūrinei misijai – reprezentacinei muziejaus ekspozicijai ir miesto kultūros centro sukūrimui. Aptariami įgyvendinti ir būsimi sumanymai. Ch. Frenkelio rūmai yra ne tik reikšmingas moderno (secesijos) architektūros statinys Šiauliuose ir Lietuvoje, bet ir technikos istorijos paminklas su visomis XIX-XX a. sandūros technikos naujovėmis: elektra, vandentiekio ir kanalizacijos, centrinio apšildymo sistemomis. Be to, tai reikšmingas žydų kultūros paveldo objektas mieste. Rūmų pritaikymo koncepcijai ir teminiam planui sukurti surinkta darbo grupė vadovavosi nuostata, jog sėkmingiausios ekspozicijos sukuriamos tada, kai į vieningą visumą susijungia istorinio pastato statybos ir funcionavimo laikas, kai pats pastatas tampa sudėtiniu ekspozicijos elementu. Taip buvo pasirinkta ekspozicijos tema „Provincijos dvaras ir miestas XIX a.–XX a. vid.“. Ekspozicija sudaryta iš dviejų dalių: kuriamas stilizuotas dvaro kultūros ir urbanistinės miesto aplinkos vaizdas. Pritaikant rūmus polifunkcinei kultūrinei misijai, buvo atsižvelgta į šiuolaikines muzeologines idėjas ir patirtis. Kryptingai ieškota idėjų sukurti ne tik patrauklią, šiuolaikinės muziejinininkystės reikalavimus atitinkančią ekspoziciją, bet ir numatytos kitos lankytojų poreikius tenkinančios zonos – kultūrinių, švietėjiškų renginių, parodų, informacijos ir pramogų.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Šiaulių "Aušros" muziejus; Rūmai; Muziejinės vertybės; Ekspozicinė sąranga.

ENThe aim of the article is to discuss adaptation of the cultural monument being restored, Chaim Frenkelis’ villa, to a polyfunctional cultural mission – a representative exposition of the museum and the creation of the cultural centre of the town. The plans that have already been implemented and the future ones are discussed. Chaim Frenkelis’ villa is not only the sole secessionist style construction in Šiauliai and one of but a few throughout the country but it is also a monument of the history of technology with all technical novelties of the turn of the 19th-20th century: electricity, water supply, sewerage and central heating systems. Furthermore, this is a significant object of the Jewish culture in the town. To formulate the conception of adapting the villa and to device the thematic plan, the working group followed the principle that the most successful expositions are created when the time of building and functioning of a historical construction is united into a whole, when the building itself becomes a constituent element of the exposition. Also, the theme of the exposition “The provincial estate and the town in the 19th –the middle of the 20th century” was chosen. The exposition consists of two parts: a stylised picture of the estate culture and urban environment are created. When adapting the villa to multifunctional culture modern ideas and experience of museology were taken into consideration. It was not only sought to find the ideas for creating an attractive exposition that meets the requirements of modern museology but other zones – of culture, education, events, exhibitions, information and entertainment – that meet the needs of visitors were provided for.
