ENStatements of MP Mantas Adomėnas about the supposed poverty of Lithuanian language in comparison to English have provoked linguists to reply with several articles and professor Arnoldas Piročkinas even wrote a book titled The Specificity of Lithuanian Language in 2016. But all these book and articles receive no due response because after the action started by the journal Naujasis Židinys calling to Stop Lithuanisation nothing matters. With whom can one talk about the culture of Lithuanian language if present secondary school graduates claim that the most difficult is the exam of the Lithuanian language – their mother tongue, concludes a well-known Lithuanian linguist.
