Тенденциии в исследовании истории внешней политики и дипломатии Великого княжества Литовского в литовской историографии последнего десятилетия

LTAutorius pabrėžia, kad pastaraisiais metais lietuvių istorikų darbuose beveik netiriama LDK diplomatinė tarnyba, tik keli darbai skirti išoriniai valstybės politikai. Dominuoja socialinės ir politinės istorijos tyrimai. To priežastys autorius mato bendroje lietuvių istoriografijos padėtyje, kurioje teikiamas prioritetas būtent socialinės istorijos, kultūros istorijos, mentaliteto istorijos ir mikroistorijos srityse. Ankstyvesnio laikotarpio LDK išorės politiką ir diplomatiją tyrinėja Alvydas Nikžentaitis. Čia istorikas tiesiogiai paliečia krašto krikšto problemą. Pabrėžiama, kad Lietuva iš objekto, kurį reikėjo pakrikštyti tapo subjektu, kurio reikalavimai galėjo paveikti visą Vidurio ir Rytų Europos regioną. Vėlyvesnį laikotarpį tyrinėja Ritą Trimonienė. Savo monografijoje ji ne tik paliečia išorinės politikos klausimą, bet ir tyrinėja regioninį modeliavimą. Tarp kitų minėto klausimo tyrinėtojų autorius mini Livonijos ordino tyrinėtoją Vygintą Stancelį, Antano Tylos išorinės LDK politikos tyrimą, Algirdo Baliulio straipsnį, skirtą LDK ir Maskvos diplomatiniams santykiams aptarti, Gintauto Slesoriuno straipsnius, Eimanto Meiliaus ir Algirdo Baliulio tyrimus, skirtus LDK ir rytų kaimynų santykiams aptarti, Egidijaus Banionio knygą apie diplomatinę LDK tarnybą ir paties Mariaus Sirutavičiaus disertacija. Ši informacinio pobūdžio medžiaga turi tikslą nukreipti tyrinėtoja teisingą linkmę. Apibendrinant, autorius mini, kad visi, aukščiau minėti, tyrimai atskirti vienas nuo kito gan ilgais laikotarpiais, kas nurodo tyrinėtojų domėjimosi lauką. ENThe author underlines that in recent works by Lithuanian historians the diplomatic service of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (GDL) is hardly studied, only some works are devoted to the external policy of the state. Investigations into social and political history prevail. The author explains that by a general situation of Lithuanian historiography where priority is given to the spheres of social history, cultural history, the history of mentality and micro-history. Alvydas Nikžentaitis investigates the external policy and diplomacy of the GDL of the earlier period. This historian directly deals with the problem of baptism of the country. It is underlined that Lithuania turned from the object that had to be baptised into the subject whose requirements could have effected the entire region of Central and Eastern Europe. Rita Trimonienė studies the later period. In her monograph she does not only deal with the issue of the external policy but also studies regional modelling. Among other investigators the author mentions the investigator of the Livonian Order Vygintas Stancelis, the investigation of the external policy of the GDL by Antanas Tyla, the article by Algirdas Baliulis devoted to the discussion of the diplomatic relations between the GDL and Moscow, articles by Gintautas Slesoriunas, investigations carried out by Eimantas Meilius and Algirdas Baliulis devoted to a discussion of relations between the GDL and its eastern neighbours, the book by Egidijus Banionis about the diplomatic service of the GDL and the thesis of Marius Sirutavičius himself. This material of an information nature is aimed at directing investigators in the right direction.
