ENIn the modem world of organisations that is characterised by time constraints, a desire to increase workers' productivity and strong competition in the market many employees feei the pressure, insecurity, not being a part of the organization that could help to achieve common goals and solve arising problems. Over the recent years, many Lithuanian and foreign scientists were trying to rind ways for the greater operational efficiency, employee motivation and implementation of strategic plans at the same time being interested in organizational culture studies. Each organization has a unique system but the question follows in order to clarify the organization activities if it is sufficient to understand the organization strategy, purpose and have some knowledge of its structure? Do the organizations have much more processes? Attempts to develop strategic plans, regardless of the organization values and needs of people and established traditions are a Utile of worth. The research question is the following: What does the organization work for? Higher education institutions are encouraged to operate in the conditions of the market economy, focusing on competition and trie needs of society. One of the priorities of educational organizations is to work as efficiently as possible. On the other hand, educational organizations share common goals: to teach, to educate, to upgrade young people and to accumulate and nourish trie intellectual potential, to transfer cultural values etc. The goals of educational organizations are more abstract, less measurable than those of business but under the current economic dimate they also compete for customers, employees, trie government and public acceptance.In order to understand the college system activities it is essential to understand its main values as an organisation in the aspect of organizational culture, the efridency of performance, strategy and trie building of organization image. The results of the research of trie cultural evaluation of an educational organization can help to improve the whole set of college, activities and processes. [From the publication]
