Lietuvos Metrika. Knyga 21, (1536-1537); Užrašymų knyga 21

LTPublikacijoje skelbiama Lietuvos Metrikos užrašymų knyga-kopija nr. 21, dabar saugoma Maskvoje (Rusijos Federacija), Rusijos valstybiniame senųjų aktų archyve: fondas 389, apyrašas 1, saugojimo vienetas 21. Spaudai ji parengta iš mikrofilmo, saugomo Lietuvos istorijos instituto bibliotekos mikrofilmų kolekcijoje. Leidinyje pateikiamas platus įvadinis straipsnis, dokumentų moksliniai komentarai (pastabos), dalykų, asmenų ir vietovių rodyklės. LM-21 knygos-kopijos įrašai apima 1536-1537 m., nors ir yra papildomai įrašyti ankstyvesni dokumentai - seniausias 1440 m. Jie atskleidžia valdovą Krokuvoje pasivijusias aktualiausias Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės valdymo problemas. Karalienės Bonos siekių išplėtoti savo žemėvaldą išjudinti ponai ir kunigaikščiai bylinėjasi su ja arba taikiai mainosi ginčijamomis žemėmis. Yra ne viena byla, kurią narpliojant prireikė valdovo aukščiausių sprendimų, pavyzdžiui, Jurgio Mikalojaičio Radvilos dukters Onos sužadėtuvių su Ivanu Konstantinovičiumi Ostrogiškiu nutraukimo ginčų nagrinėjimas ir kiti. Knygoje-kopijoje skelbiami įrašai, susiję su kunigaikščio Jurijaus Semionovičiaus Sluckio, Pavelo Ivanovičiaus Sapiegos, Jurgio Grigaičio Astiko, Alberto Martinaičio Goštauto, Fiodoro Michailovičiaus Čartoriskio, Kęsgailų reikalais, taip pat įrašyti įtakingų ponų ir kunigaikščių testamentai. Keli dokumentai susiję su užsienio reikalais. LM-21 knyga-kopija buvo valdovo, jo raštininko einamųjų reikalų (darbų) knyga, savotiškas kanceliarijos darbo juodraštis. ENThe preserved copy of the Lithuanian Metrica book No. 21 (1536-1537) was attributed to the artificial group of “Inscription Books” only after its relocation to the Senate of the Russian Empire at the end of the 18th century. In the list of the original 16th century LM books of 26 November 1623 its original predecessor was listed as a book, or "Metrica", to be more precise, of King and Grand Duke Sigismund the Old and was described as follows: "Metryka danin i innych listów potocznych w roku 1536 i w roku 1537 odprawowanych do oktobra, całe księgi". The list of the original LM books was drawn up after they were copied in the last decade of the 16th century, following the order of the Chancellor of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania Lew Sapieha. Thus, the published LM-21 book of "inscriptions" is one of such copies. In contrast to the majority of other duplicates, for some reason this book has no single heading of the documents and the space intended for the heading yet left blank was later criss-crossed by those who revised the book (fo. 34). In the list of copied books of 11 March 1623 LM-21 duplicate was listed in the 23rd position. Here the title of the LM-21 copy book is: Księgi przywileiow i inszych listów od roku 1536 roku 1537. It differs from the title of the original book which, as we shall see later, is more precise. The original (the old) LM-21 book was lost in the times of wars and havoc of the 17th century, in the period of the so-called Deluge when Vilnius was occupied by the army of the Muscovite tsar. Around 1745 the LM-21 copy book together with other duplicates was relocated to Warsaw 23, where in the register of Metrica books drawn up in 1747-1751 the future book of "Inscriptions" No. 21 was allocated number 33.(This number is featured on the sticker attached to the spine of the book, see Manuscript section of the Introduction.) The same number was preserved in the LM book register of 1787 drawn up by metricant Grzegorz Kaczanowski under the patronage of the Great Writer and secretary of the Permanent Council Adam Naruszewicz. Following the decision of the Permanent Council of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth adopted in January of 1777, Antoni Korwin Kossakowski, the secretary of the King’s office and translator of the Russian language, in several years copied 62 oldest LM books in Latin characters. Thus 29 volumes of copied books were formed where the secondary copy of the LM-21 book was incorporated into manuscript folio No. 206, p. 183-694. Moreover, in Warsaw all the headings of the documents contained in the LM-21 copy book were listed in the heading digest presented in volume No. 17 (p. 409-142), dating back to around 1760.
