LTStraipsnyje atskleidžiamas mokinių gebėjimo suprasti bei interpretuoti patarlių perkeltinę prasmę ir kai kurių demografinių kintamųjų (respondentų lyties, pažangumo, amžiaus) ryšys. Taip pat nustatomas ryšys tarp mokytojų pateikto prognostinio vertinimo ir įvairių socioedukacinių veiksnių (mokytojo išsilavinimo, kvalifikacinės kategorijos ir kt.). ENThe article deals with the link between various socio-educational factors and didactic accessibility of proverbs. The analysis of the evaluation carried out by expert primary school teachers has proved that the projections of the didactic accessibility of proverbs, established for this assessment, correspond to the pupils’ actual ability to understand and interpret proverbs, this way emphasizing the teachers’ competence. The evaluation of the actual level of development of metaphorical thinking of primary school pupils during the diagnostic investigation has shown a significant correlation (Spearman range correlation rations are accordingly 0.51 and 0.54) between the pupils’ age, learning achievement, and the ability to interpret metaphorical text of a proverb.
