LTSiekiama išanalizuoti kūrybingumo konstrukto apibrėžimo ir sampratos problemą užsienio šalių bei Lietuvos autorių mokslinėje literatūroje. Straipsnyje apžvelgiamas užsienio mokslinėje literatūroje pateikiamas kūrybingumo konstrukto apibrėžties diskursas socialinių mokslų kontekste, sisteminamos užsienio autorių atliktos kūrybingumo apibrėžimų metaanalizės, pateikiant galimas kūrybingumo konstrukto apibrėžties variacijas, aptariama konstrukto apibrėžimo ir sampratos problema Lietuvos autorių moksliniuose darbuose. Nustatyta, kad užsienio šalių mokslininkų darbuose vis dar nėra bendro sutarimo, koks turėtų būti visa apimantis, bendrai vartojamas kūrybingumo apibrėžimas. Lietuvos mokslininkų darbuose kyla diskusijų tiek dėl paties kūrybingumo termino, tiek dėl jo apibrėžimo ir sampratos. Be to, atskleista, kad Lietuvos mokslo darbuose nenusistovėjusios kūrybingumo ir kūrybiškumo terminų sampratos, tad šie terminai dažniausia vartojami kaip sinonimai, o reikšmės nėra aiškiai identifikuotos. Be to, aiškiai neapibrėžti kūrybingumo jungtiniai terminai, nemažai klausimų kyla dėl terminų vertimo, skolinių vartojimo socialinių mokslų kontekste. ENThe aim of the article is to analyse the problem of the definition and concept of the construct of creativity (in Lithuanian kūrybingumas) in scientific literature by foreign and Lithuanian authors. The article reviews the discourse on the definition of creativity in foreign scientific literature, systematises meta-analyses of definitions of creativity made by foreign authors, presents possible variations in the definition of the creativity construct, and discusses the problem of construct definition and concept in scientific literature by Lithuanian authors. Research problem. The problem of the concept and definition of the Lithuanian equivalent of the creativity construct stems from the basic English word ‘creativity’, which is still not precisely defined in foreign scientific literature (even in the field of psychology, for example, where the creativity construct has been the subject of research for decades). The following problematic questions are raised in this article: how should the construct of creativity be defined? What is the position in works by foreign authors? What are the tendencies in definitions of the creativity construct in the Lithuanian language and in scientific literature by Lithuanian authors? The authors address three main tasks in this article: to review the discourse and tendencies of the definition of the creativity construct in foreign scientific literature; to systematise meta-analyses of creativity definitions made by foreign authors, and present possible variations on the definition of the creativity construct; to analyse and compare tendencies in the construct’s definition and concept in scientific literature by Lithuanian authors.Research methods: by analysing the discourse of the definition of the creativity construct in scientific literature by foreign and Lithuanian authors, a systematic analysis of scientific literature, a logical and comparative analysis, analytical descriptive, and generalisation methods were carried out. It was found that there is still no consensus in work by foreign scientists on what a holistic, uniform definition of creativity should be. There is a debate both about the term creativity itself and its definition and concept in scientific literature by Lithuanian authors. In addition, it is revealed that there is no well-established concept of the terms of creativity (in Lithuanian kūrybiškumas) and creativeness (kūrybingumas) in Lithuanian scientific literature; therefore, these terms are mostly used as synonyms, and the meaning is not clearly identified. There is also a lack of clear definitions of compound terms for creativity, and there are many problems with the translation of terms and the use of loanwords, not only in daily language but also in scientific language. According to the authors of the article, a clear distinction should be made between the semantic meanings of the terms ‘creativity’ and ‘creativeness’, thus avoiding confusion in the use of suffixes in the Lithuanian language. In terms of compounds and synonyms, the exact meanings of the terms ‘creativity’ and ‘creativeness’ should also be determined. [From the publication]
