ENStudent mobility has been taking place since 1987, when the Erasmus program was created as part of the European Union's Lifelong Learning Program. It encourages Europeans to learn and develop new skills throughout their lives. The Erasmus+ program is related to higher education and its overall objective is to create a European Higher Education Area by promoting innovation in Europe. In order to promote learning, the 2014-2020 European Union Funds Investment Action Program has been developed, which foresees investments in education, vocational training for the improvement of education and training infrastructure in accordance with Priority 9 "Public Education and Improvement of Human Resource Capacity" in order to provide skills and ensure lifelong learning. The article presents one of Klaipėda Higher Education Institutions incoming students by Erasmus+ exchange program fin 2018/2019 Spring semester experience in foreign countries, their interests and expectations before studying and motives for choosing country and institution for Erasmus+ studies.
