ENThe paper deals with verb final consonant clusters and varies phonetic changes. As material shows, the final cluster is more complex than initial cluster - it comprises from two to four consonants. On the other hand, complex final clusters are not frequent in Lithuanian. The number of roots decreases with the increase of the number of consonants in the final cluster. So, we can say, that Lithuanian verb roots have preserved a particularly archaic structure. [From the publication]
