ENThe aim of the article is to compare Hebrew thinking with the Greek one. It is noted that our own way of thinking generally follows Greek patterns deep rooted in the paradigm of the narrative text. A main characteristic of such attitude is the position of detached bystander against the reality. The author tries to show that Chasidic tradition of Hebrews follows the alternative paradigm - the paradigm of appeal which presuppose ours involvement in concrete situation of communication.
