ENThis article analyzes duke Grzegorz Chodkiewicz’s patronage of the arts as well as the Renaissance poet Johann Myulius’ literary and pedagogical work from the perspective of culture perception. It defines the role of the monastic landscape in the town of Ilfeld in Thuringia and the farm landscape in Zabludów in Białystok District in forming cultural capital. [From the publication]
