Siužetiniai "Mergaitės su degtukais" variantai XX a. pirmosios pusės lietuvių prozoje

LTItin greitai, per vieną dieną, parašytas H. Ch. Anderseno kūrinys „Mergaitė su degtukais“, išspausdintas 1846 m. Danų liaudies kalendoriuje, nuo pat pasirodymo iki šių dienų yra vienas iš pačių populiariausių ir daugiausia interpretuojamų rašytojo kūrinių. „Mergaitės su degtukais“ tema pati savaime nėra nei nauja nei originali – XIX a. Vidurio Europoje vis dar buvo didžiulis vaikų mirtingumas, todėl natūralu, kad vaiko mirties tema menininkams buvo itin svarbi. Anderseno kūriniui pasirodžius, danų kritika pabrėžė veikėjos išskirtinumą: tokie pasakų personažai kaip angelas, maža mergaitė su degtukais, motina („niekam netikusi buvo“) danų literatūroje buvo nauji. Šio straipsnio tikslas – atskleisti siužetinius Anderseno pasakos „Mergaitė su degtukais“ variantus XX a. pirmosios pusės lietuvių smulkiojoje prozoje. Straipsnis skirstomas į atkarpas, kuriose 1. lakoniškai iškelti vyraujantys pasakos vertinimai ir semantinės dominantės; 2. atskleidžiama, kaip šio kūrinio tematika pasireiškė XIX a. pabaigos – XX a. pirmosios pusės Lietuvoje ir kaip tai veikė lietuvių meninį mąstymą; 3. parodomi kai kurie lietuvių autorių kūrinių, sukurtų kontaktinio ar tipologinio bendrumo su „Mergaite su degtukais“ pagrindu, variantai. Straipsnyje remiamasi tradiciniais filologiniu ir analitiniu metodais, kurie padeda atskleisti atskirų „Mergaitė su degtukais“ kūrinio motyvų panaudojimą, transformaciją ir pan. ENA work by H. C. Andersen, The Little Match Girl, written in a surprisingly brief period of time – one day – was published in 1846. It is one of the most popular and the most widely interpreted works of the writer in the Danish folk calendar from the time it appeared up till present. The topic of The Little Match Girl is neither new nor original in itself; child mortality was rather high in the Central Europe of the 19th c.; therefore, the theme of a child’s death was naturally very important for artists. When the work by H. C. Andersen appeared, the Danish critics emphasized the exceptionality of the main character: fairy-tale personages such as an angel, a match girl, a mother (“wretched she was”) were new in Danish literature. The aim of the article is to reveal the plot variants of the fairy-tale by H. C. Andersen The Little Match Girl in the Lithuanian small prose of the first half of the 20th century. The article is divided into sections where 1. the prevailing evaluations and semantic dominants of the fairy-tale are laconically presented; 2. the manifestation of the work topic in the Lithuania of the end of the 19th c. – the beginning of the 20th c. is revealed and how it affected the reasoning of the Lithuanians is discussed; 3. variants of some literary works by certain Lithuanian authors that were created on the grounds of the contact typological affinity with The Little Match Girl are shown. The article is based on traditional philological and analytical methods that help reveal the usage, transformation etc. of different motives from The Little Match Girl. Hermeneutic and comparative analysis is mainly applied in the comparison of specific literary works.
