Carol Gilligan rūpesčio etika

LTStraipsnyje, analizuojant skirtingus Carol Gilligan darbus, pristatoma šiuo metu vis didesnį matomumą šiuolaikinėje moralės filosofijoje įgaunanti, bet Lietuvoje dar mažai žinoma rūpesčio etika. Gilligan yra amerikiečių psichologė, kurios pagrindiniai darbai skirti moterų psichologijos ir mergaičių vystymosi problematikai. Nors ir pripažįstamas jos, kaip rūpesčio etikos pradininkės, statusas, tačiau neretai akcentuojamas jos darbų psichologinis, o ne etinis aspektas, tai yra, plėtojami empiriniai tyrimai, paneigiantys ar patvirtinantys moterų ir vyrų moralinio žodyno skirtumus, moralinių samprotavimų ir lyties koreliaciją. Šiame straipsnyje analizuosime, kaip Gilligan darbuose susipina etinė bei psichologinė plotmės, ir teigsime, kad ją galima laikyti naujos etinės paradigmos pradininke, kadangi normatyvinę rūpesčio sampratą ji grindžia nauja moralės filosofijai reliacinio subjekto prielaida, tokio subjekto, kurį formuoja ir konstituoja santykiai su konkrečiais žmonėmis. ENIn this paper the ethics of care which gains bigger visibility in the contemporary moral philosophy but still barely known in Lithuania is presented through the analysis of Carol Gilligan‘s various works. C. Gilligan is an American psychologist who is working in the field of women‘s psychology and girls’ development. Her role as the founder of the ethics of care is widely acknowledged, however her followers and critics are focused mainly on the psychological facet of her theory and bypassing ethical dimension of her work. An empirical research about the differences between male and female moral vocabularies and correlation between moral reasoning and gender are escalated mostly. This article analyses the overlapping between ethical and philosophical facets of her theory and seeks to demonstrate that Gilligan is a founder of new ethical paradigm because she bases normative concept of care on the notion of relational subject which is quite new in the traditional moral philosophy. Such moral subject is formed and constituted by the relationships with particular others. [From the publication]
