ENThe aim of preventive programmes is not only to reduce manifestations of improper behaviour but also to exert a positive influence on such factors of the character of teenagers, which are related to mental health of teenagers. Character accentuations are such expressed peculiarities of character, which make social adaptation of a teenager more difficult, and later they can manifest themselves as psychopathy and accompany a person throughout his/her entire life. Hence, a wide and effective application of children and youth preventive programmes is a considerable investment into the future of the society.
