The purpose of the publication is to reveal models of teamwork interaction between the specialists providing assistance to stinking children and families in a pre-school educational institution, where two or more specialists of different professions work in the institution. In a qualitative study, interviews were conducted from 15 speech therapists, specialist teachers, psychologists working in pre-school education institutions, and providing support for stuttering children and their families. The results of the research showed that multi-professional teams are prevalent in pre-school education institutions, where each specialist works with a stinking child and his family individually, without having a common goal and not coordinating with other professionals working in the institution. The beginnings of interprofessional support patterns are observed when two or more specialists coordinate with each other, seek common goals, share ideas and knowledge in their field. The importance of interprofessional assistance in the early age is particularly relevant due to the observed changes in paradigms not only in education but also in the health sector. The cooperation of various professionals representing the professions in providing early childhood support to the early childhood and its family in pre-school education institutions is not coherent and systematic. The study revealed that multi- professional teams are prevalent in pre-school education institutions, where each specialist works with a stinking child and his or her family individually, without a common goal and without interacting with other professionals working in the institution. The analysis of the research data reveals the roots of interprofessional practice, when specialists co-ordinate actions, seek common goals, share ideas and share their field / field knowledge. In the interprofessional teams, the main axis becomes a speech therapist, a psychologist and a specialist. The most commonly used team of specialists is a speech therapist, a psychologist and a specialist. [From the publication]
