Challenges to consider when implementing the learning paradigm in digital environments

LTKalbant apie besikeičiančių švietimo paradigmų reiškinį, akademinė literatūra dažniausiai pabrėžia naudą, kurią padarė šis pokytis. Tačiau perėjimas nuo vienos švietimo paradigmos prie kitos (ypač skaitmeninėje aplinkoje) taip pat gali sukelti iššūkių tiek studentams, tiek jų pedagogams. Svarbu spręsti šiuos klausimus. Todėl šiame straipsnyje aptariami iššūkiai, su kuriais susiduria universiteto dėstytojai ir studentai, dirbdami ir mokydamiesi pagal mokymosi paradigmą nuotolinio mokymosi kontekste. Mokslinės literatūros analizė atskleidžia, kad kliūtys ypač kyla dėl to, kad studentai ir mokytojai nėra visiškai pasirengę daryti pokyčius, kuriuos sukelia būtinų įgūdžių (pvz., Skaitmeninio raštingumo) trūkumas. ENWhen it comes to the phenomenon of the shifting educational paradigms, academic literature usually emphasizes the benefits that the change has brought. However, switching from one educational paradigm to another (esp. in digital environments) can also present challenges to both students and their educators. It is important to address these issues as well. Therefore, this paper aims to discuss the challenges that university teachers and students face when they work and learn based on the learning paradigm in the context of distance learning. Scientific literature analysis reveals that obstacles arise especially because students and teachers are not fully ready for making the change, which is caused by the lack of necessary skills (e.g. digital literacy) to do so.
