ENThis article explores issues of plastic poetics in Giedrius Mackevičius' plastic theatre. Mackevičius' theatre is distinguished by its artistic level, and its structural features are particularly rare. It is a synthesis of 'poetic' and 'prosaic' forms of plastic interplay. The expressive metrics, and plastic, rhythmical and poetic structure of the actors' behaviour on the stage are inherent in the 'poetic' form, while the 'prosaic' form differs significantly. Here, the actor addresses the audience in the everyday 'language' of his character. The article analyses these specific means in Mackevičius' stage expression.
