Šunskų šv. Marijos Magdalietės bažnyčios vertybės jos archyvinių dokumentų šviesoje

LTUžnemunės, ypač Marijampolės ir Vilkaviškio dekanatų bažnyčios daug labiau nei kitų Lietuvos regionų katalikų maldos namai stokoja istorinių dokumentų, kuriuose surašyti juose buvę reikmenys, turintys ne tiktai apeiginę, bet ir meninę vertę. Todėl jei kartkartėmis pavyksta aptikti kurios nors bažnyčios archyvą, jis tampa didele vertybe mokslininkams, kraštotyrininkams ir patiems dvasininkams, nes leidžia patikimai atkurti tų maldos namų istoriją. Straipsnyje papasakota vieno tokio dokumentų rinkinio – XIX a. Šunskų bažnyčios (Marijampolės r.) inventorių – gelbėjimo ir suradimo istorija, nurodyti jį išsaugojusieji asmenys. Ankstyviausi dokumentai – publikacijos autorės iš lenkų į lietuvių kalbą išversti 1858 ir 1875 metų inventoriai – skelbiami; juose apibūdinta Šunskų parapija, kapinės ir itin smulkiai – bažnyčios pastatas, jo vidaus įrenginiai, liturginiai indai, rūbai, kiti reikmenys. ENChurches of deaneries of Užnemunė, especially of Marijampolė and Vilkaviškis, more than any other Catholic houses of worship of other regions of Lithuania lack historical documents, in which items that had not only ritual but also artistic value were listed. Therefore if sometimes one is lucky to come across the archive of some Church it becomes of great value to scientists, students of local lore, history and economy and priests themselves because it enables them to reconstruct the history of that house of worship. The article tells the history of rescuing and finding the inventory of one of such collections of documents – the Šunskai Church of the 19th century (Marijampolė region), indicates the persons who preserved it. The earliest documents – inventories of 1858 and 1875 translated by the author of the publication from the Polish into the Lithuanian language, are publicised; They characterise the Šunskai parish, the cemetery and the building of the church in great detail, its interior, liturgical dishes, clothes, other things.
