Primary school children's creative expression in singing

ENIn the article the results of the research on primary school children’s creative expression in singing are presented. Two hundred and five junior school age children (7-11 years old) participated in the study. The bulk of the material was collected through observation. Additional data were obtained through analysis of video recordings. Information was also collected from the subjects of the study. The research data showed that the level of creative expression in singing is not high among junior school age children. Almost one third of the subjects were assigned to the low level of creative expression in singing, and only one fourth – to very high level of creative expression in singing. [From the publication]
