ENThere are four basic strategies of regional policy: strategy orientated to market, strategy orientated to living standard, strategy orientated to board, strategy based on help trough social support. Every strategy solves different problems of regional policy. Government has to decide what combination of strategies it will use to realize regional policy. During 40 years experience of regional policy in Netherlands there were used different means to solve regional problems. There are five basic groups: 1. economic or territorial goals; 2. direct or indirect means; 3. in draft or spurn means; 4. special means or integration policy; 5. choice between justice and efficiency. Regional policy is developing in Lithuania. There are two aspects of Lithuania’s regional policy; 1. regional policy of EU; 2. Lithuania’s regional policy. [From the publication]
