Teksto redagavimas: kabutės

LTDaugelis kalbos vartotojų pritaria nuomonei, kad "<...>rašmenų sistema, kaip ir pati rašyba (rašymo būdai ir taisyklės) ir skyryba, yra susitarimo dalykas, išorinis kalbos apvalkalas <...>" (Pupkis 2005:231). Deja, kalbininkai dar nėra aiškiai teoriškai apibrėžę ir praktiškai nurodę, kaip vartoti painesnius dalykus. Spausdinimo kompiuteriu (t. y. formos, ženklų) atvejai daugumoje naujesnių norminamųjų kalbos leidinių taip pat nėra aptariami arba apie juos tik užsimenama. Tam tikrų korekcijų reikalauja ir laikmetis, nes tikslių, konkrečių, patikimų rekomendacijų, kad spausdinamas tekstas būtų kokybiškesnis, trūksta. Be abejo, formos dalykai neturi būti svarbiausi, neturi užgožti teksto esmės, bet juos reglamentuoti privalu.Šio straipsnio tikslas - aptarti kabučių vartojimo (spausdinimo) problemas. ENScientists and language practitioners share the view that "<...>the character system as well as orthography (writing techniques and the rules) and punctuation are the matter of convention, the outer language shell <...>" (Pupkis 2005:231). Unfortunately, linguists themselves have not clearly defined theoretically and practically how to use certain things. The cases of computer writing (i. e. forms, signs) in most normative language publications are not discussed or are only briefly mentioned. Time requires certain adjustments because there is a lack of precise, concrete, reliable recommendations to make the printed text of better quality. Without doubt, the matters of form should not be paramount, they should not obscure the essence of the text, but they have to be regulated. The aim of the article is to discuss the problems of using quotation marks in printing.
