Mokyklos kultūros raiška

LTŠios monografijos objektas - mokyklos kultūros esmės ir reikšmės suvokimas. Kasdienėje retorikoje dažnas teiginys, kad organizacijos kultūra lemia jos narių aktyvumą, prasmingą veiklą, sėkmę, pasitenkinimą - stiprų tapatumo jausmą. Be mokyklos kultūros neįmanoma suvokti mokyklos kaip institucijos, įgyvendinančios ir įprasminančios demokratiškais ir humanistiniais pagrindais visapusišką ugdymą ir ugdymąsi. Mokyklos kultūros klausimas anksčiau iškildavo ir dabar iškyla įvairiuose kontekstuose. Visuomenėje formuojasi vis aiškesnis suvokimas, kad sėkminga organizacijos veikla priklauso nuo kultūros. Edukologiniame diskurse nurodomi skirtingi požymiai, pateikiami skirtingi argumentai. Nors ir nevienodais aspektais, vis dėlto kalbama apie mokyklos kultūrą, atskleidžiant variantiškumą. Monografijos tikslas - pabandyti suprasti, kas yra mokyklos kultūra ir kas joje vyksta. Lietuvos bendrojo ugdymo mokyklos kultūra analizuojama kaip bendrojo ugdymo mokyklos veiklos kokybės aspektas, ji atskleidžiama visuomenės ir mokyklos santykių kontekste. Knygoje aptariama bendrojo ugdymo mokyklos veiklos kokybės vertinimo praktika Lietuvoje. Remiantis Lietuvos bendrojo ugdymo mokyklų išorinio vertinimo 2009-2014 m. rezultatais, nagrinėjama mokyklos kultūros raiška, detalizuojamos mokyklos kultūros dimensijos. Duomenų analizė atskleidė, kad Lietuvos bendrojo ugdymo mokyklų kultūra įvairuoja. Mokykla, puoselėjanti unikalią kultūrą, įvardijama kaip besimokanti organizacija, demonstruojanti aukštą veiklos kokybę. ENThe object of the research: culture of general education school. The object of the research is rather broad, therefore, the scope is restricted to the analysis and assessment of the culture of general education schools in Lithuania in the period of 2009-2014. The goal of the research: to investigate culture of general education schools in Lithuania and to reveal its expression. The objectives of the research: - to discuss the phenomenon of school culture; - to determine the context that shapes the school culture; - to highlight assessment of school culture describing assessment of general education school performance in Lithuania; - on the basis of external assessment of general education schools in Lithuania, to reveal the expression of school culture in the period of 2009- 2014, to analyse cases of schools with unique culture. The study consists of an introduction, five chapters, general conclusions, the list of literature and annexes. The content of the monograph consists of the long-term research on school culture conducted following the methodology of external assessment of school activity approved in Lithuania (2009). It targets not only at overview but also at the analysis of school culture and its expression.Part One analyses scholarly literature sources on issues of school culture. The concept of school culture is discussed through the overview of research studies. The following approaches of the concept of culture as philosophical, sociological, anthropological and educational ones are disclosed. Evaluating the theories of management and educational dimension of the school as an organisation, the peculiarities of the school culture are highlighted. The factors of the school culture are singled out and their links are identified presenting the aforesaid peculiarities. In Part One the school culture is disclosed from the structural and functional perspectives. The envisaged levels of the school culture put high value on its importance. Part Two reveals the context of school culture. Firstly, the place of the school in the society is positioned, the relations with the existing institutions and community are identified. The factors that shape the relations between the school and society are discussed comprehensively. The prerequisites for formulation of the state educational policy are highlighted in the analysed context. Part Three analyses the model for the evaluation of quality of general education school activity in Lithuania, the possibilities of assessing the school culture are revealed. Such aspects of the school culture as dimensions and indicators are elaborated on. Part Four contains the results of the research on the expression of the culture of Lithuanian general education school in the period of 2009-2014. The school culture is described elaborating on the spread of each dimension under evaluation: Ethos, Objectives of school progress, Order and Relations. Part Five of the study presents evaluation of the results of the research on the culture of Lithuanian general education school in the period of 2009-2014. [From the publication]
