Technostresas – pedagogų profesinio perdegimo veiksnys

LTNuolatiniai informacinio amžiaus pokyčiai, spartus technologijų tobulėjimas kelia vis didesnius profesinius reikalavimus įvairių profesijų atstovams. Būtinybę nuolat atnaujinti technologinius įgūdžius bei žinias patiria ir pedagogai. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos pedagogų profesinio perdegimo problemos, kylančios dėl naujo šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje stebimo reiškinio – technostreso. Tai stresas, kylantis dėl intensyvaus informacinių ir komunikacinių technologijų naudojimo savo darbe ir negebėjimo suvaldyti šių intensyvių procesų. Tyrimu siekiama atskleisti, kaip technostresas veikia pedagogų patiriamą profesinį perdegimą. Pateikiami tyrimo, atlikto bendrojo ugdymo mokykloje (imtis n – 11), rezultatai. ENConstant changes in the information century, and rapid development of technologies raise greater professional requirements for representatives of different professions. Teachers also feel the necessity to constantly renew their technological skills and knowledge. This paper analyses the problems of teachers’ professional burnout that emerge due to technostress observed in today’s society. This is the stress caused by intensive use of information and communication technologies in one’s work and inability to control that intensity. The research aims to reveal how technostress influences the overall level of stress which in turn causes professional burnout experienced by teachers. The article presents the results of a study performed at a comprehensive school (the sample – n = 11). It was made clear that ICT usage in schools does cause a significant amount of technostress, which is not identified by the teachers themselves. [From the publication]
