ENThe article presents four sacral architecture projects created by V. K. Jonynas in USA though the artist is known the best in Lithuania by his graphic works. According to the literature, sources and archival monographic material that was returned from USA to Lithuania after its Independence declaration. In 1956-1976 V. K. Jonynas created 7 sacral architecture projects and 3 of them were realised. The biggest part of these projects are being preserved in Lithuanian Art Museum (Vilnius) and in V. K. Jonynas gallery (Druskininkai). The projects of St. Ann‘s Chapel in St. Casimir Cemetery (Amsterdam, New York), Franciscan Fathers1 Monastery Chapel (Green, Maine), R. C. Lithuanian Church (Mississauga, Ontario) and Sts. Peter and Paul Church (Tamaqua, Pennsylvania) are chosen for this article because they are the examples of Lithuanistics abroad.
