Martyno Mažvydo bibliofilų klubas atkūrus Lietuvos nepriklausomybę

LTOrganizuotas bibliofilijos sąjūdis – savitas XX amžiaus Lietuvos bibliofilijos ir knygų kultūros reiškinys. Straipsnyje, kuris vadintinas vienu iš pirmųjų nūdienos bibliofilijos Lietuvoje analizės bandymų, apibendrinama Martyno Mažvydo bibliofilų klubo raida nuo pat jo atsiradimo 1970 metais iki šių dienų, plačiau aptariant klubo veiklą po Lietuvos nepriklausomybės atkūrimo 1991-aisiais. Kaip svarbiausi tyrimo šaltiniai darbe panaudotas kruopščiai kauptas klubo archyvas, klubo veiklą reglamentuojantys dokumentai, klubo leidiniai, atsiminimai, o taip pat negausios informacinio pobūdžio publikacijos spaudoje. Klubo istorijoje įžvelgiami keli etapai, kai skyrėsi ne tik pavadinimas, statutas, struktūra, vadovai, narių skaičius, bet ir veiklos kryptys bei mastas. Per trisdešimt veiklos metų klubas ženkliai keitėsi, kol iš uždaros kamerinės draugijos, sovietmečiu virtusios masine šviečiamąja organizacija, tapo savarankišku, kryptingai dirbančiu bibliofilų klubu, kuris savo veikla ženklina kiekybiškai ir kokybiškai pasikeitusios šiuolaikinės bibliofilijos raidą Lietuvoje. Straipsnyje išryškintas šiuolaikinės klubo veiklos akademiškumas, kuris lemia jam svarbų vaidmenį Lietuvos organizuotame bibliofilijos sąjūdyje ir atspindi pasaulio bibliofilijos raidos tendencijas – akademinių sluoksnių bibliofilinį aktyvumą, jų siekimą daryti įtaka knygos kultūrai ir mokslo plėtotei. ENThe organised movement of bibliophily in Lithuania is a distinctive phenomenon of Lithuanian bibliophily and book culture of the 20th century. The article, called one of the first attempts of today’s Lithuanian bibliophily analysis, generalises the development of the Martynas Mažvydas Bibliophiles’ Club from its foundation in 1970 to the present days by giving a broader presentation of the activity of the Club after the restoration of the independence of Lithuania in 1991. The most essential sources were the thoroughly accumulated Club archive, documents regulating the Club activity, publications, recollections and other sparse information-kind publications in the press. One can identify several periods of the history of the Club, when the name, status, structure, chairmen and number of members, as well as the directions and scope of the activity of the Club differed. During the 30 years of its activity, the Club has seen marked changes, when a closed chamber society, which turned into a mass educational organisation of Soviet times, became an independent and focused club of biblophiles, whose activity marks the development of the quantitatively and qualitatively changed development of modern bibliophily of Lithuania. The article highlights the academic character of the modern activity of the Club that guarantees its important role in the organised movement of bibliophily in Lithuania and reflects the developmental tendencies of world bibliophily, i.e. bibliophilic activeness of academic strata, their aim to have an influence on the book culture and scientific development.
