ENThe article discusses social skills in the context of the developing as well as changing society and educational process. It also grounds education and the development of social skills in grade XI based on the change of the learning model, i.e. the organization of the educational process in mobile groups and the disappearance of the class as an academic group. The article introduces one of the possible variants of the educational / development program of social skills, prepared aiming at optimal forms of teacher training as well as cooperation between the higher school and secondary school. The program of the development of social skills is dedicated to the XI-XII grades of Vilnius Pedagogical University S.Daukantas Secondary School and it is also dedicated to the development of the professional competence of the students the Department of Education and Psychology - the future teachers. The program consists of six structural parts: 1) Human rights; 2) Socializing and cooperation; 3) Conflicts; 4) Self-education; 5) Professional socialization; 6) Family. [From the publication]
