LTPagrindinius valstybės poreikius įvardija „Lietuvos pažangos strategija „Lietuva 2030“ (2013), iškėlusi sumanios Lietuvos viziją. Visuomenė turi tapti veikli, solidari, nuolat besimokanti. ENScientific problem. The pedagogues face with challenges provided by information technology and necessity to search for new collaboration methods used for dealing with the parents. This process is rather complicated due to communication with the children of a new generation and their parents. Currently traditional forms and methods of communication have been analysed by the Lithuanian scholars. The issues of virtual communication, impact of innovations on collaboration process are being continuously analyzed indepth by the foreign scholars (Miller, 2002; Castells, 2005; Burton, 2010, etc.). The scientific analysis of literature sources provided by the mentioned authors may be used for the formulation of scientific problem as follows: How do technological changes and measures influence collaboration between parents and pedagogues? Is information technology used appropriately by the pedagogues implementing and shaping the process of collaboration. Research methodology. The aim of research – to conduct a survey of the pedagogues working at pre-school and primary education institutions, and evaluate their approach to usage of technologies in order to ensure efficient collaboration with the parents of schoolchildren. Reasearch method. A method of questionnaires was applied. A questionnaire form prepared by the authors was used to survey the pedagogues; it comprised both an introductory part and questions. Target of the research. The survey was conducted within April – June 2017 and January 2018. 182 pedagogues representing pre-school education institutions and 107 pedagogues representing primary education institutions have been selected following a technique of selective sampling. Procedure of the survey. A questionnaire form has been downloaded on http://www.manoapklausa.lt.The survey data is reliable, the statistical methods for data interpretation have been applied. Analysis of data performed using MS Excel programme. Conclusions 1. Collaboration between the pedagogues and parents is a system of social - pedagogical interaction which comprises three groups of individuals: pedagogues, schoolchildren and parents. The pedagogues have to conceive a child‘s situation, to discuss with a family and try to search for the pedagogic methods to be applied. The earlier parent intervene into a process of child‘s education the better learning outcomes will have been achieved by a child. 2. New technologies create new measures to be used for efficient collaboration between the pedagogues and parents. It is important to admit that measures such as, for instance, eDiaries, online chat rooms, parents‘ forums and chatting in groups, may provide information on-spot, the parents are able to react spontaneously and make decisions as well as implement productive actions, etc. Furthermore, an emotional influence needs to be taken into consideration. 3. The analysis of data demonstrated that innovative information technologies are used inneficiently by the pedagogues in the process of collaboration. Generally, eDiary, e-mail, social networks, the Internet and links share systems are used. The survey data approved a fact that innovative technologies are not used educating parents and providing specialists consultations. [From the publication]
