ENThe research provides an overview of everyday life of Kaunas district land court, based on the First (1566-1567) and Second (1568-1570) Land Court Books. Through its unique content the First Land Court Book, and part of the Second Book, introduces us to the everyday life of nobility courts, demonstrating areas of interests of the figurants, revealing the nature of work of the land court and its legal culture as an institution of nobility. Research of such sources will permit in the future to move ahead in creating a more exhaustive summary of mental aspirations of nobility. [From the publication]
