LTThis publication consists of an introduction, topic outline presenting issues in the form of a discussion of socio-cultural activities of Karaims in Vilnius in the interwar period, methodological and technical comments to the edited sources and eighty-three documents from the Wroblewski Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences in Vilnius and the Lithuanian Central State Archives in Vilnius, which have been divided into two main parts, depending on origin. The division into two parts was a consequence of the operation of two independent organizational structures: Karaim religious community in Vilnius and the Society of Friends of Karaim History and Literature. Published sources have been supplemented by, unpublished until now, Statute of the Karaim Religious Community in Vilnius and the Statute of the Society of Friends of Karaim History and Literature. ENIn order to bring closer cultural-educational activities of Karaims in Vilnius and to provide the content of the minutes of the meetings of the Karaim religious community and the Society of Friends of Karaim History and Literature, this presented source material was developed. My intention is to provide minutes of the meetings, the content of which testifies to the diverse forms of social and religious activity of Vilnius Karaims, which has so far not been the subject of separate research interests. As a result of charting new borders and territorial divisions occuring after 1945 evidence of such activity, creativity and entrepreneurship of Karaims remained in documents deposited in the eastern-Europesn archives, to which access is restricted. The basis for the source for the publication are files stored in the Lithuanian Central State Archives in Vilnius (Lietuvos Centrinis Valstybės Archyvas) and the Wroblewski Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences (Lietuvos mokslų Akademijos Vrublevskių Library).
