Summary / Abstract:

LTKūrybiškumas, iniciatyvumas ir verslumas padeda jauniems žmonėms ugdytis pajėgumą kūrybiškai mąstyti ir diegti naujoves, imtis iniciatyvos, būti lankstiems ir savarankiškiems bei vadovauti projektams ir siekti rezultatų, greičiau prisitaikyti prie kintančio pasaulio. Europos Sąjungos šalyse pripažįstama kūrybiškumo, inovacijų ir verslumo simbiozės svarba. Įgyvendinant Vilniaus kolegijos taikomosios mokslo ir meno veiklos 2014–2016 metų programą yra vykdomas studentų verslumo ir kūrybiškumo tyrimas, kurio tikslas – sužinoti ir įvertinti studentų požiūrį į analitinio mąstymo, savarankiškumo, verslumo bei kūrybiškumo ugdymo svarbą ir problemas, atskleisti motyvaciją užsiimti verslu. Straipsnyje apibrėžtos verslumo ir kūrybiškumo sampratos bei išnagrinėti verslumo ir kūrybiškumo ugdymo aspektai atlikus studentų apklausą Ekonomikos fakultete. ENCreativity, initiative and entrepreneurship will help young people develop the capacity to think creatively and innovate, be flexible and independent, manage projects and deliver results. Such creative and innovative society will be able to easily and quickly adapt to a changing world conditions and will have economic and social advantages. Entrepreneurship is inextricably linked to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which accounts for more than 99 percent of European business. The SME sector contributes to innovations in the market, the creation of jobs, ensures labour market flexibility and increases the economic competitiveness of countries. In the near future the largest number of jobs will be available in the service sector, including IT, insurance and consulting. Employers are increasingly looking for candidates with transversal competences, such as the ability to solve problems, organize their work and communication. The set of such competencies can be called non-routine skills. Vilniaus kolegija/ University of Applied Science in 2014-2016 carries out the program of Applied Science and Art activities. The survey of entrepreneurship and creativity was provided for all students, with an aim to learn and evaluate students’ attitude towards the analytic thinking, independence and creativity, and the importance of education issues, revealing young people’s attitude towards necessary qualities of the entrepreneur and the motivation to conduct business. The aim of the research is to define the concepts of creativity and entrepreneurship and to evaluate results of the survey. The objectives of the research are: to identify the concepts of entrepreneurship and creativity, define the importance of students’ entrepreneurship development and creativity skills, and to generalize results of the survey carried out at the Faculty of Economics.The methods of the research are: review of the literature focusing on the concepts of entrepreneurship and creativity, conducting a survey by questionnaire, systematizing, analysing and summarizing the obtained results.
