ENWith the acceleration of digitization processes in Lithuanian museums and their growing number of digital collections the question of the integrity and homogeneity of such content arise. The objective behind the integral virtual exhibition portal of the Lithuanian integral information system is to unify the standards of collections descriptions and operational ontologies that are used by the museums to widely represent digital content and thus enrich European digital collections. This major goal was implemented with the establishment of the integral virtual exhibition for the prospective portal of Lithuanian integral information system. The exhibition describes the integral data model for the museum objects and the principles of the use of ontologies as well as the ways of presenting cultural content to the endusers and sharing it with external portals. This paper aims at revealing the main principles the museum should consider in order to develop the Lithuanian integral museum virtual exhibition system. [From the publication]
