Summary / Abstract:

ENThe literature critic Dalia Striogaitė presents a recently found letter which was not in the archives, from the third Lithuanian President Kazys Grinius (1866–1950) to the writer Petronėlė Orintaitė-Janutienė. It was written in 1949 in Chicago, where Grinius lived at the time. It is a response to a request by Orintaitė for information about the late poet Pranas Vaičaitis (1876–1901) from Sūduva.
