ENThe inventory made in 1639 for the Pašvitinys property that belonged to thebis- h°P of Žemaitija (Snmogitin) is published in the present paper. The publication of the toventory is important for the history of the local community, since for the first time a detailed description of the Pašvitinys properly including the estate, the township and the county (13 villages) is presented. Thus, a demographic, social and economic situation of the county is reflected in it. On the other hand, the inventory reveals some peculiarities in the life of North Lithuanian people: brewing, relations with Latvians etc. [From the publication]
