ENM. Pečkauskaitė is one of few Christian witnesses of the XIX-XX centuries. She proclaimed the love of God not by great words, but argued in favor of Truth. Her life and actions could be as an instance of the triangle of the Christian love. The art of living, which she was teaching to leam could be find as a great task - as love of God and people, as a self - devotion. The Christian love is like an outpouring, a great virtue - those could be directing as a service for all neighbors. Šatrijos Ragana is one of the most famous Christian writer of the century and the founder of Christian education in Lithuania as well. Of course, this fact had been forgotten at Soviet Union for the Christian mind, but at the moment we have a new look into her theological value of theological literature, published in G. Mikelaitis to Rise and to Raise. Many of M. Pečkauskaitė’s writings we could find plenty of Christian thoughts and development of the soul. By sustaining of the Holy Bible, The Catechism and the documents of II Vatican, it could be developed as a matter of great relevance to the meaning of eternal truth. An example of M. Pečkauskaitė is revealing a conception in beatification causes, that saints are not strangers, are not outsiders, but those believing in Christ by doing casual tasks should respond with active love. God does not need the causes of beatification, but those are necessary for us to follow up the examples how to try for an occasion to become holy. [From the publication]
