Urbanistinė estetika M. K. Čiurlionio tapyboje

LTPrieš pradėdami kalbėti apie urbanistinę estetiką Mikalojaus Konstantino Čiurlionio tapyboje, trumpai nužymėsime taką jos sampratos link. Šiuolaikinė urbanistinė estetika apima ne tik stebėjimo, bet ir veikimo sritis, tai viena iš nedaugelio estetikos teritorijų, kurios pagrindas yra aktyvus veiksmas. Žmogaus erdvės keitimas, artefaktinis jos struktūravimas, tampantis tarsi kūno tęsiniu makluhaniškąja prasme, yra susijęs su daugybe etinių elementų, taigi lyg ir pateikia neskaidytą gėrio ir grožio sąaugą, nepasiduodančią analitinės estetikos pjūviams, nors urbanistinė estetika ir būtų pastarosios domenas, priskirtinas bemaž universaliam ir savitam kasdienybės estetikos dariniui. Bet lygiai taip ji gali būti suvokta iš formalistinės, taip pat fenomenologinės estetikos prieigų. ENImages of the city appearing in M. K. Čiurlionis’ paintings are not sporadic or random elements: they form an integral and indivisible plastic framework of the artist’s thinking. Čiurlionis’ city is like thinking within thinking where urban elements are reflected both as an authentic reflection of the time of living, although broken through a very peculiar prism, and as urban planning in its broadest sense. And all this is dialectically related to the visionary creation of the world as a unit of thought, as a factor of a synthetic instrument intended for thinking. Therefore in Čiurlionis’ paintings we find unknown and romantic cities in ruins, projections of utopian civilizations, symbolic and emotionally charged experiences of the city. The artist deconstructs visible cities and builds invisible ones thus questioning urbanism as such. It seems that the artist is approaching phenomenological insights via gravitation and to the very essence. Analysis of the elements of urban aesthetic and of their dynamic synthesis in Čiurlionis’ painting, in parallel with the studies into the effect of the soundscape of his lifetime on his music is still awaiting a broader approach.
