LTŠiame straipsnyje nagrinėjama Žemaičių Kalvarijos Kalnų (Kryžiaus kelio) maldų ir giesmių raida XX a. pabaigoje - XXI a. pradžioje. Tiriama Žemaičių Kalvarijos Kalnų (Kryžiaus kelio) XX a. pabaigos - XXI a. pradžios redakcijos maldų ir giesmių kaita. Ištirta, kad Žemaičių Kalvarijos Kalnų (Kryžiaus kelio) maldos ir giesmės XX a. pabaigoje - XXI a. pradžioje buvo keletą kartą redaguotos. Atliktas tyrimas pagrindė darbo pradžioje išsikeltą prielaidą, kad XX-XXI a. sandūroje Žemaičių Kalvarijos Kalnų (Kryžiaus kelio) maldų ir giesmių tekstų kaitai įtakos turėjo vykę bažnytiniai įvykiai ir Bažnyčios aprobuotos dvasininkų kūrybinės iniciatyvos. EN[...] The research object is the prayers and songs of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija of the end of the 20th century-the beginning of the 21th century. The aim of the research is to analyse all the different versions of the prayers and songs of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija of the end of the 20th century-the beginning of the 21st century and to reveal their change. To achieve the aim, the following objectives were raised: first, to examine the origins of the different versions of the prayers and songs of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija of the end of the 20th century-the beginning of the 21st century; second, to carry out the analysis of the texts of prayers and songs of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija found in liturgical prayer books of the turn from the 20th century to the 21st century; third, to determine the change of the texts of prayers and songs of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija of the end of the 20lh century-the beginning of the 21st century. The study of the development of the prayers and songs of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija of the turn from the 20th century to the 21st century leads to several conclusions: first, the processes of editing the prayers and songs of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija of the end of the 20th century-the beginning of the 21st century began after the Second Vatican Council held in 1962-1965 when the new principles of Catholic doctrine were announced; second, one “Liturgical Prayer Book” was prepared and six (6) were published at the turn from the 20th century to the 21st century.They included the prayers and songs of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija; third, the texts of the prayers and songs of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija in the manuscript “Liturgical Prayer Book” dating to 1967 and the first printed “Liturgical Prayer Book” of 1968 were edited by Fr. Jonas Paliūkas, M.I.C.; fourth, in the second revised edition of “Liturgical Prayer Book”, released in 1984, Fr. Paliukas, M.I.C., in partnership with the man of letters Fr. Petras Paišys and musician Fr. Pranciškus Tamulevičius, presented the numbering of the stations, or places, as well as the prayers of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija in a new way (instead of traditional 19 stations of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija, there are 20 stations, or places, and instead of a wide range of prayers are presented. Ffth, in the collection of the songs of the Hills of Žemaičių Kalvarija presented in the second revised edition of “Liturgical Prayer Book” published in 1984 Fr. Paliūkas, M.I.C., in cooperation with musician Fr. Pranciškus Tamulevičius, refused the songs “After He Calmed down the Chosen Ones” and “Dear Jesus”, Psalm 129 and the song “Discovery of the Holy Cross” associated with station, or place, XX, which were all included in the manuscript version and the first edition. What is more, instead of traditional comments explaining the melodies of the songs, in the manuscript and the first edition the comment indicates that the songs have to be sung in the melody of the song “Remember, the Christian”, i.e. the melody is unified. The conclusions presented prove the assumption raised at the beginning of the study according to which the change in the texts of prayers and songs of the Hills (Stations of the Cross) of Žemaičių Kalvarija were influenced by the events of the Church as well as the approval given by the Church to the creative initiatives undertaken by priests.
