ENRasa Karūžaitė and Regina Giedrienė note in their article that the special educational needs of children with cerebral palsy who are educated in ordinary classrooms vary from minor to major, they can be educated according to general, modified, adapted and individual programs that fully meet their special needs. These children learn in ordinary classrooms or studying in both common classroom and special room is combined. The special needs of the children are evaluated and educational programs and forms are selected by a Pedagogical Psychological Service or the Special Education Committee of the school. Special pedagogues provide the parents and pedagogues with assistance related to the special educational needs of the children, they help pedagogues if difficulties occur and, if there is a need, in adapting programs while the class teachers inform the parents on issues of their interest.
